Knot Plan

As a young women about to get married I visited about four Bridal Salons before making my wedding gown choice. As mother of the bride I traveled the entire Eastern coast and visited every boutique, department store, and salon. I tried on dozens of dresses, suits, and separates in every color and fabric in hopes of finding the appropriate ensemble for my daughters’ wedding. I knew that I would never outshine my daughter, nor did I want to, but I did want to look fabulous. I was told that the mother was the second most looked at person at the wedding so I didn’t want to disappoint. As hostess, I wanted to look good not dowdy.
